Supplies:

-A branch
-Rope (12 feet works well for a standard 8ft. ceiling)
-Ceiling hanging hooks
-Fake birds
-Glass ball candle holder
-Tea light candles
-Thread (or fishing line)
-Hot glue gun
Step 1
Cut your 12ft. rope in half and tie each of the two new 6ft. ropes to the ends of the branch.
Step 2
Use a hot glue gun to attach all of your fake birds to the branch – spacing them stylishly apart.
Step 3
Use thread (or fishing line) to attach your glass ball votives to the branch. Tie a few tight, simple knots to keep the ball in place.
Step 4
Twist the little hardware hooks into the ceiling (one for each rope), and tie your rope ends into the hooks. Hooks like these are generally rated for about 20lb. each, so they will have no trouble holding your lightweight branch centerpiece above the table.
Step 5
And bam! In just a few quick steps, you’re done. Light those little candles, set the table for dinner, and enjoy the sweet, glowing ambiance of your new suspended centerpiece.
